Boutique hotel · Colchagua
Price stopped being the reason to go compare somewhere else.
“The same four questions every day: what dates are open, how much it costs, how many nights, what's included.”

Boutique hotel · Colchagua
02 — Before
The path was Instagram → Linktree → site. The form only collected dates, the price wasn't known until you asked, the room was anonymous and the WhatsApp conversation started from zero. Spanish only.
- Forty-one thousand followers routed through a middleman: Linktree adds a click and erases the trail, so the traffic can't be measured or reached again.
- Check-out times that contradict each other between the site and Booking, which produces complaints that didn't have to happen.
- Copy that contradicts itself: the breakfast description said to avoid animal products and then listed ham, salami, cheese and butter.
- The manager's time spent on repeat questions that an FAQ page and a well-built form answer on their own.
03 — What was built
- Two-month calendar you can work with your thumb. Picking dates from dropdowns on a phone. There was no way to do it by touch.
- Nights and total calculated automatically, with and without VAT. The "how much is it?" question, which was the main reason to leave the hotel's own site and go compare on an OTA.
- Minimum-stay check. The guest finding out the rule only when the manager explains it.
- Four suites, each with a name and an argument of its own. The anonymous room that gives you no reason to pick one over another.
- Spanish and English with a switcher. The language barrier for a foreign visitor. The WhatsApp message is written in English too, so the hotel knows the guest is foreign before answering.
04 — After
The project is built but not approved by the client yet, so there is no operation to measure.
- Price goes from being a question to being a number you can see before making contact.
- Instagram traffic stops getting lost in a middleman.
- The contradictions in hours and content are settled in one source.
Nothing in this case is authorized: the client hasn't approved the project yet and no permission has been discussed. It's published anonymized and with no identifiable material until that changes.
The full case — every decision, what I ruled out and why, the whole stack — is written in Spanish.

You don't need to know the solution. The first conversation is about understanding what you repeat every day.
